Coca-Cola’s Chicago office heads to Twelve01West

January 17, 2019, CHICAGO – McCaffery Interests welcomes Coca-Cola’s Chicago

office to a 7,364-square-foot space at the Twelve01West building in the Fulton Market

neighborhood. The world’s leading total beverage company will make their Chicago home

in McCaffery’s newest development, along with Heritage Bicycles. Coca-Cola is set to

move in Q3 2019.

“Twelve01West makes sense for companies like Coca-Cola—with nearby public

transportation down the street, the development is essentially a gateway into the

neighborhood,” said Clayton McCaffery, Senior Managing Director of Acquisitions and

Development. The development boasts luxury amenities including a penthouse-level

wellness center and rooftop space, and is also home to the newest location of Heritage

Bicycles, a coffee and bike repair shop with a devoted fanbase of local Chicagoans.

“Coca-Cola’s decision to move to Fulton Market is in line with other major companies

relocating to the city’s long-established hot spot for burgeoning startups and bespoke

retailers,” said Ryan Curry at Cushman Wakefield, who worked alongside James Stein

and Steve Bauer to sign this tenant. Brad Despot and Mike Curran from JLL lead the

office leasing team at Twelve01West.

Twelve01West is located at the corner of Lake and Racine, two blocks west of the

Morgan Street Green Line CTA station. Nearing the finish line of construction, the

150,000 SF seven-story glass and concrete building will feature floor-to-ceiling glass

windows and a total of 24,000 SF of efficient, leasable floor plates. In addition to

multiple modern tenant amenities including a wellness center and indoor/outdoor

rooftop space, Twelve01West will also include 20,000 SF of green space and 45 indoor,

secure parking stalls. Project completion is anticipated for Q1 2019.
