Lincoln Common Announces Newest Retail Tenant Play2Day

CHICAGO (May 2019) – Lincoln Common, the new crossroads of Lincoln Park, today announced its newest tenant: Play2Day. New to Chicago, the boutique, hourly childcare service for children two months to five years of age will serve as a convenient drop-off location for parents and caregivers as they work out, shop or gather with friends at Lincoln Common. Play2Day team members are dedicated to creating an optimal play space for engaging children in developmentally appropriate activities to stimulate their curiosity. Parents will be able to take advantage of the copious amenities offered at Lincoln Common while their child is in great care for up to three hours at a time. Play2Day is anticipated to open in Q3 2019.

“Lincoln Common is the perfect place for us to open and we are thrilled to offer our services to the Lincoln Park community soon,” said Annie Eggleston, Owner of Play2Day. “With so many exciting shopping, dining and entertainment opportunities coming to Lincoln Common, we are going to see an influx of active and on-the-go families, working parents and young professionals looking to engage and explore. Whether going on a date night or just enjoying a kid-free class at Equinox, adults will have a safe, professional place for their kids to relax for a few hours at a time, while being enriched with yoga classes, music classes, story time and more.”

The 1,510-square-foot Play2Day will be located at 2369 N. Lincoln Avenue. The childcare service joins the quickly growing roster of Lincoln Common retailers, including the currently under construction 33,000-square-foot Equinox Lincoln Common, Velvet Taco, Philz Coffee, Athletico, Compass and Kohler Waters Spa.

Just one block to the Fullerton CTA Station and a short walk to Lake Michigan, Lincoln Common is a vibrant new anchor of the Lincoln Park neighborhood comprised of new buildings and restored structures to seamlessly integrate into the existing fabric of the neighborhood. Residents and the surrounding community will be regularly entertained with a robust calendar of year-round events held beneath the SOM-designed steel trellis, which rises above the central plaza of Lincoln Common, just steps from the entrances to The Apartments at Lincoln Common.
