McCaffery Managed Tapestry Naperville & Ovaltine Court Win Ownership Contest

Over the summer, owners of Tapestry Naperville Apartments and Ovaltine Court Apartments, challenged management teams to find ways to give back to their communities in the Community: The Spirit of Giving Back competition. Our teams not only accepted this challenge but exceeded expectations to take home the win!

Born out of a deep awareness of economically impacted residents, increasing “closed for business” signs, and struggling retail re-leasing concerns in the wake of the COVID-19, the McCaffery Property Management teams at Tapestry Naperville Apartments and Ovaltine Court Apartments prioritized supporting its valuable neighbors.

During the COVID-19 stay-at-home order, the properties regularly shared news and details with residents about available business and services in the immediate area. Communications kept residents in-the-know while driving business to local retailers and supporting local initiatives, including Dine Naperville, Yes! Villa Park, and the #GreatAmericanTakeout, a national initiative that encouraged dining out each Tuesday to support local restaurants during the pandemic.

The Ovaltine Court Team took it one step further and staff volunteered for 12 hours and donated 150 pounds of pantry items to the Villa Park/Lombard Food Pantry. Their efforts supported community members in need and the team has committed to future volunteering events.

We're proud to win, but our teams are fully aware that these residential communities would not be what they are without the neighborhoods that surround them. Our teams have established a long-term commitment to assist our neighboring retail and restaurant industries through the after-effects of the pandemic to ensure that our residents are surrounded by thriving, vibrant neighborhoods.
