Welcome New Leasing, Property Services & HR Talent

To continue the delivery of our unique brand of services to our expanding portfolio, we are proud to announce the addition of these talented individuals to McCaffery’s professional family:

Ross Modjeska joined the McCaffery team in June. Most recently a retail landlord and tenant broker with RKF where he led efforts to source and solicit new and creative clients for the company’s Chicago assets, Ross has five years of experience in the commercial real estate industry and is a licensed real estate broker in Illinois. His knowledge and skill will bolster the McCaffery team as he focuses on leasing McCaffery’s existing portfolio while expanding opportunities for third-party tenant representation. Ross is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and holds a B.A. from Indiana University.

Lizzie Rivera, Director of Residential Management, is the most recent addition to McCaffery’s Property Services Team. Based out of our Arlington office, Lizzie oversees the daily operations and manages the on-site personnel at McCaffery’s D.C. and Pittsburgh multi-family assets. With more than 20 years’ experience in property management, Lizzie’s understanding of multi-family operations, resident retention, compliance policies, and management technologies are invaluable to the McCaffery team.

Brian Alper also joined the McCaffery team in June as Director of Human Resources. Brian has 20 years of human resources experience within the real estate industry and previously oversaw all facets of HR at Urban Retail Properties. At McCaffery, Brian will focus on the overall operation of both corporate and property level HR operations. He will oversee talent acquisition, onboarding processes, policy development, benefits, compensation, safety, employee engagement, and culture initiatives. Brian is certified by the Human Resources Certification Institute as a Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) and Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) and holds a master’s degree in Human Resources Management from Loyola University Chicago.
