How McCaffery is staying in touch with residents and tenants at Lincoln Common

“The exterior is quite traditional, but when you get inside, the embellishments are a little more avant-garde and contemporary,” says Dan McCaffery of McCaffery Interests, which is co-developing the property with Hines. “We got creative with the layouts, so many units face both east and west. Instead of a long interior corridor dividing each floor, there’s three sets of elevators spaced out down the length of the building. You can step off the elevator directly into your own foyer.”

Play2Day team members are dedicated to creating an optimal play space for engaging children in developmentally appropriate activities to stimulate their curiosity. Parents will be able to take advantage of the copious amenities offered at Lincoln Common while their child is in great care for up to three hours at a time. Play2Day is anticipated to open in Q3 2019.

Lincoln Common, the new crossroads of Lincoln Park, today announced its newest tenants: Dearborn Denim & Apparel, Blowout Junkie, Pharmaca and Verve Wine, coming soon to the community. The new storefronts join the quickly growing roster of Lincoln Common retailers, including the 33,000-square-foot Equinox Lincoln Common anchor, Velvet Taco, Philz Coffee, Athletico, Compass, Play2Day, and Kohler Waters Spa.

Philz Coffee at Lincoln Common is expected to open Q3 2019. “Philz Coffee is a company after our own heart—the products are customized and the service is best-in-class. Residents of Lincoln Common and of Lincoln Park have a lot to look forward to with the community of retailers we’re assembling at this intersection,” said Dan McCaffery, CEO of McCaffery Interests.

The Texas-based fast casual restaurant will occupy a 2,572-square-foot space, and join Kohler Waters Spa and Equinox Fitness to offer guests of Lincoln Common a delicious dining option, with an outdoor patio space during warmer months. Opening is scheduled for mid- to late-2019.

This fall, Dearborn Denim & Apparel will open a 668 SF storefront at 2342 North Lincoln Ave., and Blowout Junkie will take a 652 SF space at 2340 North Lincoln Ave. Pharmaca will occupy a 2K SF storefront at 2311 North Lincoln Ave., and next spring, Verve Wine, a New York-based retail shop, will open a 4K SF wine bar at 2349 North Lincoln Ave.
