McCaffery welcomes Drip Collective to Twelve01West, in Chicago’s Fulton Market neighborhood. The new concept from Lincoln Square’s Side Practice Coffee, Drip Collective, will open in 1,778-square-feet at 172 N. Racine Avenue in January 2024.

Shake Shack is thrilled to announce that it’s expanding to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 2023. The company will debut its first Pittsburgh restaurant at The Terminal – an adaptive reuse of Pittsburgh’s old Produce Terminal in the Strip District – and is expected to open in 2024. Shake Shack currently has 12 locations in Pennsylvania, all within the greater Philadelphia region.

McCaffery is pleased to announce that Chicago-owned and operated restaurants Batter & Berries and 79th Street BBQ have leased at 23rd Place at Southbridge, a new mixed-use development recently opened in the Motor Row District. The Southbridge locations will be the second for both operations. McCaffery Leasing Manger Andrew Macafee brokered the deals, the first commercial leases for the development.

Award-winning restaurateurs Mike Chen of Everyday Noodles and Alex Tang of Mola Sushi announce the name of their new 8,600-square-foot food hall and bar experience at The Terminal in the Strip District: Novo Asian Food Hall. Currently under construction at 1931 Smallman Street, the food hall plans to open to the public this Summer 2023.

A creative advertising agency is moving into the Fulton Market District after selling its former offices for a windfall. Schafer Condon Carter will move into a 15,000-square-foot space on the third floor of 176 North Racine Avenue, at a 135,000-square-foot building developed by McCaffery Interests on the corner of Lake Street and Racine.
