Keeping Our Community Together

How McCaffery is staying in touch with residents and tenants at Lincoln Common

With McCaffery's commitment to bringing people together and always striving for thoughtful and creative solutions to do so, our teams continue to connect with residents and tenants even in the wake of social distancing.

Our newest Chicago mixed-use development, Lincoln Common, is no exception. Here are just a few of the ways the McCaffery team keeps spirits high onsite and helps connect our retail tenants and apartment residents.

Move For Kids Fundraiser

As the former site of Children's Memorial Hospital, Lincoln Common participated in this year's Move For Kids -- a fundraising event to benefit Lurie Children's Hospital. The event was on May 16th, and residents were encouraged to walk on their own as part of the Lincoln Common team. We also put together a full day of virtual events to get the whole family moving! The events included virtual storytime and sing-a-longs, as well as fitness classes and stretches. In just a week of fundraising, the property was able to raise more than $4,600 for the hospital!

Weekly Retailer Offer Emails

Our retail tenants are such an important part of the Lincoln Common community. To support their businesses and offer easily accessible products and services to our residents, our onsite team sends out weekly communication on ways residents can still engage with these tenants.

Let's Get Physical!

We know that keeping up a healthy lifestyle is important to our residents. We continue to keep them informed of what tenants such as Athletico and Equinox are offering. We also maintain close relationships with other local businesses a part of the LC Advantage Program, informing our community of special programs exclusively available to them as Lincoln Common residents.

Supporting on Social Media

Lincoln Common has nearly 7,000 followers on social media and we've used our expansive reach to continue promoting our retailers during this difficult time. With daily interaction, our team is always up to date on current tenant offers, hours, and any changes in business they may need to communicate.

Happy Birthday Sing-along

Even during times of social-distancing, a birthday is still a cause for celebration! To honor the "first birthday" of our building, residents at Lincoln Common sang "Happy Birthday" together (from their windows, of course), proving that we really can be together, apart.
