McCaffery is pleased to announce that Chicago-owned and operated restaurants Batter & Berries and 79th Street BBQ have leased at 23rd Place at Southbridge, a new mixed-use development recently opened in the Motor Row District. The Southbridge locations will be the second for both operations. McCaffery Leasing Manger Andrew Macafee brokered the deals, the first commercial leases for the development.

Since YIMBY’s September update, much of the facade work has taken place at the northern building of Southbridge Phase I, now known as 23rd Place at Southbridge.

McCaffery has been working with the architects, the Chicago Housing Authority and The Community Builders to get Southbridge, in Chicago's South Loop, through the City process since 2015. Yesterday, the Community Development Commission recommended approval of the TIF allocation and the plan will be presented to the Plan Commission for approval later in July.
