"Envy Premier Nail Spa will be opening a 1,900-square-foot salon this summer in the 1,533-foot-long Strip landmark that has been redeveloped into retail and restaurant space by Chicago-based McCaffery Interests," reports Mark Belko of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. "The local company, with salons in Mount Lebanon, South Fayette and Upper St. Clair, becomes the fifth tenant to sign on to take space in the 163,500-square-foot warehouse as part of the $62.6 million rehab."

"Back when the produce terminal in the Strip was being considered for renovation, some people were quite vocal about the idea of making cut-throughs in the building. One concern was destroying the character of the iconic but decaying building," observes Kristy Locklin of NEXT Pittsburgh. "Years later, there are now three so-called passageways recently completed in The Terminal, the mixed-use redevelopment of the Strip’s five-block-long produce terminal. The enclosed and heated passageways at 17th, 18th and 20th streets sport benches, creative lighting in a dazzling array on the ceiling and a collection of colorful graphics about Pittsburgh."

The Washington D.C. Hoagie Headquarters, Taylor Gourmet, opened its doors on the ground floor of F1RST Residences this week. Brokered by Rory Cameron, McCaffery’s Director of Leasing, this is Taylor Gourmet's 8th outlet in Washington D.C., and its first in the Capitol Riverfront neighborhood.
