Schafer Condon Carter will move into a 15,000-square-foot space on the third floor of 176 North Racine Avenue, at a 135,000-square-foot building developed by McCaffery Interests on the corner of Lake Street and Racine.

BISSELL has joined the tenant roster at the McCaffery’s Fulton Market office development in Chicago, Twelve01West. BISSELL will occupy 7,473 square feet of office space on the sixth floor of the building, next to The Coca-Cola Company office. JLL’s Brad Despot and Michael Curran represented McCaffery in the deal. “We are thrilled for this move as it deepens BISSELL’s roots within the Chicago market and provides us with ideal office space to grow our team and continue to attract top talent,” said Mitch Brandow, vice president integrated marketing at BISSELL. “Our spot at Twelve01West offers us a great, modern office, rich with amenities, and in a vibrant neighborhood we look forward to calling home.”

McCaffery is proud to have earned LEED® Gold Certification for their Fulton Market development, Twelve01West. Twelve01West has earned the sustainability-focused designation in part due to: extensive green roofs; light-colored roofing materials; reduced water usage; and all-LED lighting. Additionally, at least 75% of all construction waste materials were diverted from area landfills.

McCaffery Interests welcomes Coca-Cola’s Chicago office to a 7,364-square-foot space at the Twelve01West building in the Fulton Market neighborhood. The world’s leading total beverage company will make their Chicago home in McCaffery’s newest development, along with Heritage Bicycles. Coca-Cola is set to move in Q3 2019.

A cloud software company signed a 47,000-square-foot lease in McCaffery Interests’ Twelve01West building in Fulton Market. ServiceNow will use the fifth and sixth floors of the building at 1201 West Lake Street as its Midwest hub. Colliers International’s David Burden, Patrick Hewitt, Jim Abarta and Grant Zumidio represented the firm. Craig Coupe, Mike Curran and Brad Despot of JLL are handling office leasing for the property. Twelve01West, McCaffery Interests’ Class A office development in the Fulton Market District, is substantially complete, general contractor W.E. O’Neil Construction said. The 147,000-square-foot project at 1201 W. Lake St. is reportedly the first in Fulton Market to receive a Wired Silver certification from WiredScore. The New York-based WiredScore, which devised an international rating system for technological capacity in commercial properties, expanded to Chicago last spring.

Chicago developer McCaffery Interests is the winner with ServiceNow, which is the biggest signed tenant to date at the 150,000 square-foot building McCaffery built on speculation, or without any tenants signed. That bold move was a bet on future corporate demand in the Fulton Market District, which is turning from a gritty meatpacking district into a hotbed of offices, hotels, restaurants and entertainment. ServiceNow "wanted to be a big fish in a smallish pond, and this is the place for them to stand out in the marketplace," said McCaffery Senior Managing Director Clayton McCaffery.
