Dan McCaffery

Dan McCaffery has had a celebrated career in real estate spanning thirty years. He currently serves as CEO of McCaffery Interests, the firm he founded in 1990 that is behind a number of projects in Chicago and around the country. He spoke with us recently about his latest projects—including the recently completed Twelve01West in Fulton Market and the under construction Lincoln Common in Lincoln Park—as well as how the industry has changed, lessons learned and what motivates him when it comes to real estate development.

It was a spirited celebration on March 15th as McCaffery Interests was named the recipient of the 2017 Corporate Legendary Landmark Award at the Landmarks Illinois' 2017 Legendary Landmarks Celebration.

Daniel McCaffery, the founder and CEO of McCaffery Interests, is the recipient of the 2016 Wisconsin Award bestowed by the Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association (WREAA)! WREAA serves as a vital link between the Real Estate and Urban Land Economics Program at the University of Wisconsin Madison, current students of the program, alumni and friends of the program and the real estate industry.

Between celebrating our silver anniversary, establishing an educational fund, receiving lifetime leadership awards, and winning two Emmys, 2015 was quite a year at McCaffery Interests!
